With this addition, IndiGo becomes the only Indian airline to offer direct connectivity between Mumbai and Dar es Salaam, reinforcing its ambition to connect India with the world. India and Tanzania share a longstanding relationship built on trade, commerce and cultural exchange. India is among Tanzania's largest trading partners, with growing engagement across sectors including manufacturing, agriculture, and healthcare, among others. The introduction of daily direct flights is expected to further facilitate trade, investment, tourism, and educational exchanges by enhancing connectivity between India and East Africa.
