IndiGo Adds Dar es Salaam to its Growing Global Network, Strengthens Connectivity to Africa

IndiGo, India’s preferred airline and one of the fastest growing carriers in the world, announced the launch of daily, direct flights between Mumbai and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, effective 20 November 2026. With this addition, IndiGo becomes the only Indian airline to offer direct connectivity between Mumbai and Dar es Salaam, reinforcing its ambition to connect India with the world. Bookings for the flights are open on IndiGo’s official website www.goIndiGo.in, mobile app, or through authorised travel partners.

India and Tanzania share a longstanding relationship built on trade, commerce and cultural exchange. India is among Tanzania's largest trading partners, with growing engagement across sectors including manufacturing, agriculture, and healthcare, among others. The introduction of daily direct flights is expected to further facilitate trade, investment, tourism, and educational exchanges by enhancing connectivity between India and East Africa.
