Ludhiana, February 10, 2020 (News Team): SAR Group, a conglomerate with multiple lines of business, announced its entry into the burgeoning e-rickshaw market of India by launching its first model branded “Andaaz” in Ludhiana. For the Leader in E-Rickshaw battery segment, venturing into E-rickshaw is a natural extension of the evolution journey. The launch marks as one of the biggest development in the 31 years of the company history.

The brand’s first model Andaaz LX is targeting "Value" segment of customers, to bring order to the cluttered three-wheeler market. The design of the product has been developed based on an extensive survey conducted by talking to e Rickshaw drivers across the country, understanding their pain points and expectations. Andaaz is being launched with its strong chassis, long range battery life, world class service and affordable finance.

Powered by Livguard E-Shakti Lead Acid Battery, Andaaz LX is a state of-the-art product made for the tough Indian road conditions. By March 2021, the company intends to expand its business to 150+ locations. Company plans to go indigenous with all parts for the next version, Andaaz DX being completely ‘Made in India’.

Commenting on entering into e-rickshaw category, Rakesh Malhotra, Founder SAR Group said “We are pleased to enter the e- rickshaw category with Andaaz. Speaking on the launch of the product, Hetal Sonpal – COO, Electric Vehicle business said “We have set up a 50, 000 sq feet state of the art factory for manufacturing of electric vehicles in Manesar, Haryana with peak capacity of 12,000 vehicles per month. The launch of Ludhiana dealership marks our critical entry into Punjab and we expect to create a strong presence here with our service and long lasting durability.”
